Low molecular weight heparin (LMWH) obtained by decomposing unfractionated heparin by chemical or enzymatic treatment is known as a blood coagulation inhibitor. In this application, parnaparin sodium which is one of LWMH was analyzed using PROTEIN KW-803 and KW-802.5 which are aqueous SEC (GFC) columns, connected in series.
Sample : 50µL Parnaparin sodium 10mg/mL
Columns : Shodex PROTEIN KW-803 + KW-802.5 (8.0mmI.D. x 300mm each)
Eluent : 0.2M solution of Na2SO4 aq. (pH5.0 adjusted with 0.05M H2SO4 aq.)
Flow rate : 0.5mL/min
